Aligning Lines
Q: I dont know how to align the lines in Embird to make them all sew out on the same pattern or same time. Could
you please tell me how to do this in Embird?
A: Once you have your two or three lines of text in Editor, place them in
the approximate position you want them, spacing them as equally as you can. Each row of text should be a separate thumbnail. Select
all three thumbnails (Control/A if you only have the three thumbnails). Then look down on the left toolbar. Do you see
the third icon from the bottom, align? It's a yellow square and purple triangle icon. If you click on that, you have the
choice of aligning the designs. If you want them aligned on the left side, then choose horizontal: align left vertical:
space equally. All your lines of text will now be spaced equally and aligned on the left side.
Saving a Design as a JPEG
Q: Is there a way to save designs, through Embird, so they can be used as pictures? For example, I would like to make greeting
cards and possibly use an embroidery design, or be able to send the picture of the design via e-mail.
A: Open your design
in Manager and then right click in the center workspace where the design is. Scroll down in the dialogue box and you can export
as a bitmap. Follow the prompts to export it.
